BIO
David Gomez is a professional saxophonist, pianist, and music educator trained at the Conservatory of Music in Cuba and the University of the Arts. His musical background combines formal training with years of live performance, bringing versatility, elegance, and energy to every stage. Based in Portland, Oregon, David specializes in live music for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, receptions, churches, and special occasions. His repertoire moves naturally between jazz, romantic ballads, instrumental Christian music, and Latin styles including bolero, cha-cha-chá, Cuban son, and contemporary favorites. Every performance is tailored to the atmosphere of the event—from an elegant wedding ceremony or cocktail hour to an energetic celebration. With professional sound equipment and the option to collaborate with DJs and other musicians, David provides a polished musical experience designed around each client and occasion. Beyond performing, David is also passionate about music education. He offers in-person and online music lessons in saxophone, piano, guitar, and voice, working with students who want to develop their technique, musicianship, and confidence.
